A former professional footballer at Premier League outfits Southampton, Stoke and Burnley, Wayne has been plying his trade as a UEFA A coach since retiring from the beautiful game in 2012.
After successful coaching stints at New York Red Bulls and Stoke, Wayne is now the Academy Development Coach at Championship side Wigan Athletic, for the club’s u14 – u16 phase, and has been the Director of Football at Masterclass for the last 2 years.
His holistic experience from amateur through professional player and coach, provides the perfect balance of expertise to lead our football programme, and is much revered by students and teachers alike, who have all benefited from his coaching Masterclasses.
