The Girls’ Schools Association has agreed to partner with MasterClass Sports Tours.
The three year agreement will see MasterClass organising national and international events for the GSA. This includes their annual netball festival which is due to take place on September 23rd-25th at the opulent Condover Hall in Shropshire, and will attract over 400 participants from across the UK. The tournament for year 8 and 9 girls will also welcome special appearances from England Netball stars Pamela Cookey and Sara Baymen.
The Girls’ Schools Association represents many of the top performing day and boarding schools in the UK independent schools sector. A member of the Independent Schools Council, the GSA encourages high standards of education for girls and promotes the benefits of being taught in a largely girls-only environment.
Both GSA schools and MasterClass espouse instilling a strong sense of social responsibility through travel and experience of other cultures, something MasterClass has been doing for almost 25 years.
Charlotte Vere, Executive Director of the Girls' Schools Association said:
"We're pleased to confirm MasterClass Sports Tours as the Girls' Schools Association's preferred supplier for sports travel. Our ability to call on MasterClass Sports Tours' considerable expertise in arranging bespoke tours will be a welcome benefit to our members."
Sam Seward, Managing Director at MasterClass Sports Tours added:
‘’It’s a great honour to be appointed as the preferred sports travel supplier for such a prestigious organisation as the GSA. Working alongside some of the UK’s leading girls’ schools is a really exciting prospect, and we are very excited about developing the provision of sports tours and events for the association and its’ members over the course of the next 3 years.
